Sterilization
Caution
The extension cable is not autoclavable. Do not
autoclave the extension cable or damage will result.
Caution
Always install the soaking caps prior to sterilization, to
protect the connector pins.
Steris System 1 / System 1E

1. Clean and prepare the extension cable as recommended in this
user guide. Ensure the soaking caps are installed.
2. Sterilize the extension cable using Steris
20 Sterilant, or System 1E™ with S40™ Sterilant. Follow the
manufacturer's instructions.
3. Allow the extension cable to completely dry before reassembly.
Sterrad System
1. Clean and prepare the extension cable as recommended in this
user guide. Ensure the soaking caps are installed.
2. Sterilize the extension cable using the Sterrad™ Sterilization
System.
3. Allow the extension cable to completely dry before reassembly.
100% Ethylene Oxide Gas
1. Clean and prepare the extension cable as recommended in this
user guide. Ensure the soaking caps are installed.
2. Sterilize the extension cable with an ethylene oxide sterilization unit
according to the following parameters:

Using Sterile Drapes
Using sterile drapes will ensure maximum longevity of your extension
cable. For best results, follow the instructions provided by the drape
manufacturer.

This Stryker Endoscopy product is warranted to the original purchaser
for a period of one year from the date of purchase to be free from
defects in material and workmanship.
This warranty extends to all purchases and is limited to the replacement
