• Do not place foods with sharp ends in the zipper bags. It may cause damage
and create an air leak.
USING EASYVAC PLASTIC/GLASS CONTAINERS
1. Place food inside the container. Set the lid on top and apply some pressure
with both hands to snap into place and prepare the container for vacuum
sealing.
2. Attach the sealer to the container lid and press the power button.
3. The LED indicator light will flash for a few seconds once it reaches the pre-
set vacuum level and the sealer will automatically stop. Remove the sealer
and place the container in the fridge or pantry.
Important tips:
• While most fruits and vegetables stay fresher for longer when vacuum
sealed, raw bananas and mushrooms may actually deteriorate faster due to
their natural ripening process.
• Don't vacuum seal raw carrots, onions, garlic, cabbage, and lettuce because
they release natural gasses that affect vacuum level.
• Sucking in liquid can affect the performance and even damage the sealer. If
a small volume of liquid goes into this sealer by accident, it can be drained
from the Liquid Outlet. However, liquids such as coffee, fruit juice and oil
can't be completely drained, thus affecting the sealer performance in an
irreversible way.
• Vacuum packaging is not a substitute for the refrigerator or freezer. Perish-
ables still need to be refrigerated.
• Vacuum packaging doesn't extend the food expiration date. Food will be
safe to eat within the expiration date printed on the product's original packaging.
