Disposal of carbon filter
Replace every 3 months and dispose of properly. Important: Increase the filter cleaning/replacement fre-
quency if the hood is used for Care and maintenance more than 2 hours a day. Always use genuine filters from
the manufacturer.

Troubleshooting

Cause
The appliance is not installed properly
on the brackets.
The fan blade is damaged.
The fan motor is not xed tightly.
The fan blade is jammed.
The motor is damaged.
Light bulb blown.
Power connection loose.
Speed may be too low.
Distance between the cooker hood and
the hob is too great.
Aluminium lters are dirty.
Top vent might be obstructed.
Optional vent kit might be twisted.
Carbon lter is not tted in recirculation
mode or is full of grease.
Solution
Take down the appliance and check it is
properly xed.
Switch off the appliance. Repair to be
carried out by quali ed service personnel
only.

Replace with a bulb of the correct rating.
Check power supply.
Select a higher speed.
Readjust the distance to: Gas hobs: 760
mm, Electric hobs: 650 mm
Clean the aluminium filters. (See Care and
maintenance section.)
Clear any obstruction.
Ensure that the vent kit is tted according
to the manufacturer's instructions.
Fit carbon lter in or replace the carbon
filter. (See Care and maintenance section.)
