2.2 Exterior air inlet
For the fireplace draught to work correctly, the room must have an outside air inlet from the house exterior to the
room, that is at least sufficient to replenish the volume of air that comes out of the chimney flue.
In well insulated houses an air inlet must be fitted through the outer wall and if a vent is installed, it must be fitted
in such a way that it cannot be blocked.
Warning. In homes without the appropriate outside air inlet, extraction fans (e.g. Kitchen
extractors) can cause problematic reverse chimney draughts.
2.3 General installation recommendations
The installation of the appliance must comply with all local regulations, including those that refer to national and
European standards. In any case, the installation should be done by an authorised installer.
CARBEL will be responsible for the provided appliance, but in no case for the installation of the same.
