6.4 Replacing the cable assembly
6.4.1 Dismounting the cable assembly

Risk of injury due to unexpected start-up.
For the entire duration of maintenance, servicing, dismounting and repair
work, the following instructions must be adhered to:
• Switch off the power source.
• Close off the compressed air supply.
• Switch off the entire welding system.
• Pull the mains plug.
NOTE
• When mounting liquid-cooled ROBO WH cable assemblies, make sure
that the mounting bores for the water nipples and the O-rings are
lubricated.
• When mounting liquid-cooled ROBO WH cable assemblies, make sure
that the water nipples in the ROBO WH welding torch interface are
inserted correctly into the cable assembly adapter. Observe the forced
positioning.
• After mounting is complete, check for any leaks.
• When mounting liquid- and air-cooled cable assemblies, make sure that
all lines (control lead, water hoses, gas/compressed air lines) are
installed without torsion and with sufficient clearance.
