PREPARATION FOR OPERATION
PUMP LOCATION
The pump should be located in a dry place on stable surface with
good air access near ventilation holes.
Place the pump in safe distance from water intake (min. 2 m),
distance from wall should not be smaller than 5 cm.
Contaminations (e.g. sand or soil) must not get through
ventilation holes.
CONNECTING SUCTION HOSE
It is recommended to use preliminary filter and check valve to avoid
long time of repriming and unwanted pump damage caused by
stones or other hard solid objects.
Remove blank plug from the suction hole.
Screw connector ( 2) into suction hole of the pump and install
connector pipe for suction hose (5).
Install suction hose (with spiral reinforcement) to the connector
pipe for suction hose (5).
The suction hose should run downwards from the pump to water
intake (fig. A). Do not place the suction hose above pump level (air
bubbles in the suction hose can slow suction or make it impossible)
(fig. B).
Install suction and pressure hose so they do not press on the
pump.
Check valve and preliminary filter should be placed at appropriate
depth to avoid dry operation of the pump in case the water level
lowers (fig. C).
Leakage in suction hose hinders suction of water. Do not use
quick couplers to connect the suction hose. Avoid sucking foreign
matter (e.g. sand).
CONNECTING THE PRESSURE HOSE
Remove blank plug from the delivery hole.
Screw angle connector ( 2) into delivery hole of the pump and install
connector pipe for pressure hose (3).
Attach pressure hose to the connector pipe for pressure hose ( 3).
Use of pressure hose with smaller diameter reduces efficiency of
delivery.
When suction is on, all stop valves in the pressure line must be open
(e.g. spray nozzles) to allow release of air present in the suction
hose.

OPERATION / SETTINGS
SWITCHING ON
Place the device on hard, even and stable ground.
Unscrew the priming plug ( 4) and fill the pump and casing with
water until overfill (filling suction hose with water will speed up
process of suction) (fig. D).
Open all stop valves in the pressure line (e.g. spray nozzles).
Connect power cord to power supply and switch the pump on with
the switch (7) (fig. E).
Suction will start automatically – delivery of water to maximum
height may take up to 5 minutes.
If the pump is removed from the system after pumping has been
finished, unscrew the drain plug (6) to remove water from the
pump.
Fill the pump with water before next use.
Disconnect the garden pump from mains network before
priming.
When using a check valve that prevents self-emptying of suction hose
in case of short break in operation, the pump can start suction by itself
and priming is not necessary.
Pump motor is protected against overload and overheating
with built in temperature sensor. In case of overheating the
temperature sensor will switch off the pump automatically, and
start the device when it cools down.
If the pump does not start delivering water after 5 minutes, switch
it off and check connections.
OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE
Unplug the power cord from mains socket before commencing
any activities related to installation, adjustment, repair or
maintenance.
MAINTENANCE
In general, the garden pump does not require inspections. To extend
life of the product and failure free operation, periodic checks and
maintenance are recommended. There are no parts inside the device
that require maintenance.
STORAGE
When long break in operation is expected and before winter period
flush the pump thoroughly with water, drain completely (risk of
freezing) and store in a dry place. After long period of storage check
the pump by switching it on and off shortly after, observe if the fan
installed on the impeller rotates properly.
All defects should be repaired by service workshop authorized by the
manufacturer.
