Cleaning the boiler
The boiler must be cleaned after 20 hours of operation, in order to prevent limescale from
forming.
The boiler cleaning LED (10) starts blinking when the boiler must be cleaned.
HOwEVER, you can start ironing. To clean the boiler, follow the "Sequence of operations"
below.
ATTENTION!
The boiler must only be cleaned when cold.
NOTE:
Failure to carry out this operation will make the warranty null and void.
Sequence of operations:
•
Press the ON/OFF button (6).
•
Disconnect the plug (7) from the socket.
•
Let the boiler cool down for at least 4 hours.
•
Place the boiler on a wash basin.
•
Shake the base to help the limescale chips detach (Fig. F).
•
Remove the cap cover (3) at the side of the product by turning it anti-clockwise (Fig. G).
•
Loosen the cleaning cap (4) by turning it anti-clockwise with a coin (Fig. H).
•
Let the water and limescale drain from the hole.
•
Shake the boiler once again for the remaining water and limescale chips to come out.
•
Tighten the cleaning cap (4) by turning it clockwise with a coin.
•
Set the cap cover (3) in place by turning it clockwise.
•
Refill the water reservoir (1) before using the boiler again.
•
Insert the plug (7) in the socket.
•
Press the ON/OFF button (6).
•
The boiler cleaning LED (10) continues to flash: press the ECO button (8) until the LED
goes off (at least 3 seconds).
Make sure the cleaning cap (4) is tightened well.
Do not clean the boiler with detergents, anti limescale products, vinegar
or any other substance.
Cleaning the appliance:
Before cleaning the appliance, switch it off by pressing the ON/OFF button (6) and disconnect
the plug (7) from the socket. when necessary, clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Do
not use solvents or other aggressive or abrasive detergents. Otherwise, the surface could
be damaged. Make sure all cleaned parts are completely dry before reusing the appliance.
