STEP 3B: INSTALLING ON A WOODEN WALL
1. Drill the previously marked holes with a drill and 7mm bit. The holes must be at least 9cm deep.

2. Insert the wood screws into 9 the holes of the awning brackets , then into the pre-drilled beam.
3. Gently push in the screws and turn them manually at first, then tighten using the appropriate Allen
key or an adjustable spanner.

STEP 4: INSTALLING THE AWNING

Once the brackets are installed correctly, you can start to install the awning.
2 people are needed for this step. Use a ladder to carry out the installation and make sure that it is stable.
1. Place the awning onto the brackets. Fix it in place first on the upper notch then the lower one.
2. Secure the structure by tightening the two round head bolts (left and right) at the base of the bracket
with the Allen key 6 .
To facilitate installation, you can loosen the bolts beforehand. Do not forget to re-tighten them once the
awning is installed correctly.
Once the installation is complete, remove the safety restraints from the awning.

Warning: incorrect installation can be dangerous.
Do not install the awning if you do not understand the instructions fully or if you are not sure
whether your wall can hold the weight of the awning.
