6 Troubleshooting

All work on electrical parts or electrical connections and the refrigerant circuit must
be carried out by qualified and authorised personnel.
WARNING! Disconnect electrical power before performing any operations
on electrical parts or on electrical connections.
Below are the possible causes of failure or malfunction with an explanation of
measures to be taken. In the event of defects not contained in the table or in the
event of faults that cannot be resolved following the contained instructions, contact
Indel Webasto Marine S.r.l. directly.
Defect
The Ice Maker does not switch on. There is no power supply.
No ice production
Possible cause
There is no water inside the prod-
uct.
The solenoid valve is broken or
blocked.
Insufficient condenser heat
exchange
Intervention
- Make sure that the plug is insert-
ed in the electrical mains socket.
- Connect the plug.
-
Make sure that the main sup-
ply is connected and pressurised.
-Connect to main water supply /
check system pressure.
Disconnect the solenoid valve
cables and check the coil imped-
ance (about 850-900 Ohm for the
230Vac coil). .
-If the impedance is correct,
replace the solenoid valve and
install a pre-filter.
-If the impedance is not correct,
the coil is defective. Replace it.
-Dust/dirt on the condenser
-Remove the front panel and
clean the condenser properly.
