CAUTION: Disposal
For environmental reasons, do not dispose of the device in the household waste
at the end of its useful life. Dispose of the unit at a suitable local collection or recy-
cling point. Dispose of the device in accordance with EC Directive – WEEE (Waste
Electrical and Electronic Equipment). If you have any questions, please contact
the local authorities responsible for waste disposal.
Remove the battery before disposing of the device at an official recycling point. Before
removing the battery, disconnect the device from the charger and wait until the motor
comes to a complete stop. Remove the front cover using a screwdriver and loosen the
screws underneath. Finally, disconnect the battery. Dispose of the used battery at a coll-
ection point.

4. Operation
• Remove the packaging.
• Check the device, power supply and cables for damage.
• Connect the device to the mains power. The device must be switched off at this time.
• Route the cable safely so that there is no risk of anyone tripping over it.
• Charge the device for ~90 minutes before the first use.
• If the charger indicator lamps flash slowly this means that the battery is charging. Once the
display is permanently illuminated, the device is fully charged.
CAUTION
• For hygiene reasons, you should not share this device with anyone else.
• When switched on, the device should not come into contact with other areas of skin
(e.g. eyelashes, head hair etc.), or with clothes or cords, to avoid injury as well as
blockages or damage to the device.
• Do not use the device on irritated skin, varicose veins, rashes, spots, (hairy) birthmarks
or wounds without consulting a doctor beforehand. The same applies to patients with
weakened immune systems, diabetes, haemophilia and immune insufficiency.
