PREPARATION
1. Make an internal thread in the injector sleeve using
the pre-cutter (1).
REMOVING
2. Insert the external thread (5) of the spindle (3) into the
internal thread of the injector sleeve (7).
3. Hold the spindle (3), turn the spindle nut (4) clockwise
and pull the injector sleeve (7) out of the cylinder head
(6).
INSTALLING
1. Remove the expansion bolt (10) out of the tool
(8).
2. Position the injector sleeve (9) onto the tool (8).
3. Insert the expansion bolt (10) back into the tool
(8).
4. Insert the complete tool unit (8) with installed
injector sleeve into the injector manhole.
5. Hold the spindle (11) and turn the spindle nut (12)
clockwise.
6. The injector sleeve (9) will be pressure-grouted
into the injector seat by the expansion bolt (10).
7. Pull the expansion bolt (9) over its entire length
through the injector sleeve by turning the spindle
(12) nut and holding the spindle (11).
