The sm oke alarm device, if properly inst alled and m aint ained,
sounds t he alarm at an early st age of t he fire. This can give
you t hose ext ra valuable seconds t o evacuat e your hom e and
call t he fire depart m ent . The sm oke alarm device works wit h
an 3V lit hium bat t ery. Under norm al condit ions t he service life
of t he bat t ery is up t o 10 years. When t he bat t ery is ( alm ost )
em pt y, t he sm oke det ect or indicat es t his by an audible " beep".
This indicat or sounds every 30- 40 seconds during m inim um 30
days. End of life, replace com plet e sm oke alarm device!
