Sheets not correctly aligned to punch pattern
Possibly overloading the machine
Cause
Waste tray too full
Paper chads still in punches
Paper not set up properly
Cause
Stapler release button not pressed
Stapler depth guide not set correctly
Pushing too hard on guide
Solution
Adjust edge guide to correct paper or cover size
to release any stray clippings into the waste tray
Adjust edge guide and test punch scrap sheets until correct
Solution
Move paper side to side in the throat to remove paper debris
Align paper to the left side of the punch throat prior to punching
Solution
Press stapler release button
Adjust stapler depth guide to desired position
