• Before using your appliance for the first
time, read the following instructions
carefully and keep them for future
reference. Keep this manual throughout
the entire working life of the appliance.
• Make sure that the mains voltage in your
home corresponds to that indicated
on the appliance. Only connect the
appliance to an AC power supply.
• The electrical safety of your appliance
is only guaranteed if it is connected to
an efficient earth installation. If in doubt,
contact a qualified professional.
• The appliance is designed for domestic
use only. Any other use is considered
unsuitable and therefore dangerous.
• In order to avoid electric shocks, do not
submerge the connection base, cable or
plug in water or any other liquid.
• Only use the kettle with the connection
base provided. Do not use any other
type of connection.
• Do not leave the appliance on
unattended. Keep out of the reach of
children. Individuals suffering from motor
system impairments should not be
permitted to use the appliance.
• Unplug the base from the mains
when not in use, before connecting or

• Never use any electrical appliance if
the cable or plug are damaged, if it is
not working properly or if it has been

• Avoid contact with the steam that is
released from the spout when the water
boils. Be especially careful to avoid
burning yourself with the steam when
removing the kettle's lid.
• Never fill the kettle to above the 'MAX'
mark, or else the water may overflow
when it begins to boil.
• Never switch the kettle on when the
water is below the indicated 'MIN' level.
• This appliance should not be used
by physically, sensorially or mentally
handicapped people or people without
experience or knowledge of it (including
children), unless they are supervised or
instructed in the use of the appliance by
a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be watched to ensure
they do not play with the appliance.
4. BEFORE USING YOUR KETTLE
Before using your kettle for the first time
or after a long period of disuse, fill to the
maximum, boil and then pour the water away.
5. HOW TO USE YOUR AUTOMATIC
• Place the appliance on a dry, flat, stable
surface.
