Important Safeguards:
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be
followed to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock and/or personal injury.
1. Read all instructions.
2. Make sure that your outlet voltage corresponds to the voltage stated on the rating
label of the coffee maker.
3. Do not immerse appliance, cord or plug in water or other liquid.
4. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
5. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or in abnormal state. If
its main cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer,the nearest
service agent or a qualified person.
6. The use of accessory is not recommended by the appliance manufacturer. It may
result in fire, electric shock and/or personal injury.
7. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surface.
8. To disconnect, remove plug from wall outlet. Always hold the plug. But never pull
the cord.
9. Do not use appliance for other than intended use and place it in a dry
environment .
10. Do not leave the coffee maker unattached while it is operating, the appliance can
not be operated by children.
11. Be careful not to get burned by the steam.
12. Do not touch hot surface. Use handles or knobs only.
13. Never use the appliance if the carafe shows any signs of cracks. Only use the
carafe with this appliance. Use carefully as the carafe is very fragile.
14. Never use your coffee maker without water in it.
15. Never leave the empty carafe on the keeping warm plate otherwise the carafe is
liable to crack.
16. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven.
17. Do not clean container with cleaners, steel wool pads, or other abrasive materials.
18. Stand the appliance on a table or flat surface.
19. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliances by a person responsible for their safety.
20. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
21. Do not use outdoors.
