Application
Can be used in conjunction with:
• Pressurised storage heaters
• Thermally-controlled instantaneous heaters
• Hydraulically-controlled instantaneous heaters
Operation with unpressurised storage heaters (displacement
water heaters) is not possible.

Safety notes

• Installation is only possible in frost-free rooms.
• The switched-mode power supply is only suitable for
indoor use.
• The voltage supply must be separately switchable.
• Use only genuine replacement parts and accessories. The
use of other parts will result in voiding of the warranty and
the CE identification.

Technical data

• Minimum flow pressure
• Operating pressure max.
• Recommended flow pressure
• Test pressure
• Temperature
Recommended (energy saving):
• Integrated isolating valves
If static pressures exceed 0.5 MPa, a pressure-reducing valve
must be installed.
Avoid major pressure differences between hot and cold water
supply.
Rough installation
1. Prepare the wall for the installation, refer to dimensional
drawing on fold-out page I and Fig. [1] on fold-out page II.
2. Observe installation depth in accordance with Fig. [2].
3. Align the wall-mounting box (A) horizontally, vertically and
parallel to the wall, see Fig. [3].
4. Mark wall-mounting box (A) and fasten using plugs, washers
and screws (not included in the delivery specification).
5. Connect pipes (B), see Fig. [4]. The hot water supply must
be connected on the left and the cold water supply on the
right.
Do not solder the connections between the pipes and
housing, as otherwise the built-in isolating valve may be
damaged.
6. Close isolating valves (C), see Fig. [4].
Open hot and cold water supply and check that
connections are watertight.
Flush pipes thoroughly before and after installation
(observe EN 806).
Connecting to the power supply
Electrical installation work must only be
performed by a qualified electrician. This work
must be carried out in accordance with the
regulations according to IEC 364-7-701-1984
(corresponding to VDE 0100 Part 701) as well
as all national and local regulations.
• Only round cables with max. outside diameter 6 to 8.5mm
may be used.
1. Cut opening in wall-mounting box (A), see Fig. [5].
2. Insert 230V connecting cable (I) into the base.
Strip insulation in accordance with Fig. [6].
3. Pull sleeve (J1) over the two current-carrying wires.
4. Attach lustre terminal (J); observe assignment, see Fig. [7].
5. Secure all three wires with the cable tie (J2), just in front
of the lustre terminal (J).
6. Route strand (I1) in an arc and position lustre terminal (J)
on locators (K1) in base (K), see Fig. [8].
7. Secure cable using screws (M) and strain relief (L).
8. Fasten lid (N) in base (K) using screw (O).
0.05 MPa
Note for installer:
1 MPa
0.1 – 0.5 MPa
• Attach structural shell protection (P), see Fig. [9].
• Do not carry out any further installation procedures until the
1.6 MPa
tiling is completed.
max. 70 °C
60 °C
Note for tiler:
• Take account of 1 to 3mm grouting joint to rough installation
protection, see Fig. [10].
Perform final installation.
Further installation procedures are explained in the final
installation for the trim set.
Replacement parts, see fold-out page I.
