1. Introduction

your trust in us. This operating manual contains all information needed to use, set up and maintain
the Hamach paper and plastic bale press.The Hamach paper and plastic bale press is permitted to be
used solely for compacting masking paper, lightweight cardboard and masking film. The Hamach
paper and plastic bale press substantially reduces the volume of your waste.

properly, it will give many years of trouble-free service. In order to ensure that the press operates
smoothly, it is important to read this instruction manual carefully and keep it near the machine at all

2. Important information
Instructions regarding packaging:
The Hamach paper and plastic press is packed for transport on a pallet. The packaging must be
removed and disposed of in accordance with local waste disposal regulations. The press can easily be
removed from the pallet and set up using lifting equipment.

CAUTION!
Safety shoes must be worn during transport and installation. Set up the press on a flat, level surface.
CAUTION!
Please observe the following when the machine is in operation:

No smoking
No naked flames

Avoid creating sparks or flying sparks, including from neighbouring workstations

Ensure that either paper or plastic film is being baled. Avoid mixing the two, because
problems may otherwise arise during disposal, since they are two different waste products.

Ensure that any paint covering the paper or plastic film to be baled has dried. This will prevent
the interior of the press from becoming unduly contaminated.
Carry out regular checks to ensure that the press is working properly

In the event of a defect or breakdown, immediately disconnect the press from the
compressed air supply and inform your supplier or the manufacturer.

Ensure that the workplace and surrounding area are kept clean
