Troubleshooting

In case of malfunction of the reader, check these points:
– Is the correct power supply on the plugs of PIN 1 (8.5 VDC to 16
VDC) and PIN 2 (0 V)?
– If the reader is on Wiegand mode, DIP switch 1 must be set to the
OFF position.
– If the reader is on OSDP/RS485 mode, DIP switch 1 must be set to
the ON position.
– Set the address of the reader by setting the DIP switches 5 to 8
( Setting the address of the reader (Switch 5, Switch 6, Switch 7,
Switch 8), page 33 ).
Check the wiring between the reader and the controller ( Wiring the
–
reader, page 28 ).
