WARNINGS

Please read all the operating instructions carefully
before using the appliance for the first time. Keep this
instructions manual for future consulting. Illustrations
reported on this manual are indicative, the manufacturer
reserves the right to make, at any time, any changes it
deems appropriate without any duty to update this
instructions.
PROPER USE
Use the appliance for generate steam for ironing,
as indicated in this instructions manual.
Any improper use of appliance will invalidate the
warranty.
We decline all liability for any damage or accident
derived from any use of this appliance which does not
comply with the instructions contained in this manual.
NOT INTENDED USE
Do not use the appliance for improper use, such
as heating source or as a basis for upward.
 Dispose the packing materials carefully and keep away
from children. Danger of suffocation! Children can
suffocate through the improper use of packaging
materials.
 After unpacking, check the appliance for damage, if
necessary, contact the supplier (see page. 2).
 Do not expose the appliance to wind, rain or extreme
temperatures.
 This appliance is not suitable to be used by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or with no previous experience and
knowledge of this appliance, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
product. Look after the children to ensure that they do
not play with the appliance.
 This
appliance
complies
regulations.
Inspection,
maintenance may only be performed by a qualified
specialist (see page 2). Non-compliance invalidates all
claims under the warranty.
 Always place the appliance on a dry, flat and heat-
resistance surface. It is necessary to keep the unit in
horizontal position during operation. In case of the
appliance being dropped, it is necessary to have it
checked by a qualified service technician (see page.2),
because the internal safety features could be damaged.
 Do not place the appliance near a source of heat (live
element, electric stove...) or inflammable materials
(explosive, ignitable gases...).
 Keep the ventilation slots of the appliance clear.
Danger of overheating!
 Do not place any objects on the appliance and do not
cover it during operation. Danger of fire!
 Caution! The appliance becomes very hot during
operation. Touch only after it has cooled down or use
the boiler handle.
USE

 Iron only on heat resistant surfaces and on surfaces
that allow the steam to escape.
 Before connecting the appliance, make sure that
the mains voltage and the frequency are the same
as indicated on the technical specifications and
that the electrical socket is equipped by earth
connection. The electric plant must be conforming
to the laws in force.
 Do not put the appliance, the cable or the plugs in
water or other liquids.
 Do not place the electrical cable over sharp edges or
close to hot surfaces or objects; do not allow the
electrical cable to be twisted, crushed or stretched,
because the electrical cable can be damaged.
 Do not use the appliance if the electrical cable or other
important parts are damaged. If you have to replace
some parts, please contact the qualified and authorised
support centre (see page. 2).
 Do not use the appliance near sinks, bathtubs, showers
or containers full of water. Never touch the appliance
with wet hands or feet when plug is connected. Do not
use the appliance when barefoot.
 Do not leave the appliance unattended. When not in
use, turn the applince off. Do not pull the electrical
cable out of the socket, but grasp the plug itself.
 If you use an extension cable, be sure that the cable is
suitable for maximum power of the applliance. Place
the extension cable in such a way as to prevent anyone
from tripping over it or pulling on it .
 In case of troubleshooting or malfunction, immediately,
turn off the appliance and do not try to disassemble it,
but contact the an authorised support centre (see
page.2).
 Always make sure the appliance is switched off and
unplugged before performing the preparations for use,
cleaning or maintenance work.
 Danger of burns! During the operation and until it has
cooled down the iron must be moved only by using the
handle.
 Danger of burns! Do not put your hands inside the jet
of steam and do not direct it at people, animals,
electrical plant of the surrounding area or the
appliance.
 Use fresh water, which may be warm without other
liquids
introduced.
SWEETENED OR PERFUMED WATER.
 Each time you drain or fill the boiler, switch off and
disconnect the appliance from the mains.
 Slowly filling the boiler avoids the limestone deposited
on the boiler detaching which may lead to blockages.
 Make sure that safety cap is correctly screwed on
before turning on the appliance; otherwise hot steam
may escape from around the cap.
 Do not open the boiler cap when the appliance is
working or until the boiler has cooled down.
