UPS - USER'S MANUAL
Trouble Shooting
Symptom
Possible Cause
LED Display is not working.
Power cord is not properly
connected.
Battery is empty
Battery defect
Alarm buzzer beeps
Overload of the UPS (>600W)
continuously when AC supply is
normal.
Battery time is shorter each
Overload of the UPS
time the power fails.
Battery Voltage is too low
Communication is lost between
Cable is not properly connected
UPS and PC.
(Device status: not connected)
Software is not installed well
Mains power is normal but LCD
Power cord is loose
display's Battery mode.
Circuit breaker is broken
Resetting the Circuit Breaker
UPS completely off. (disconnect mains power)
Press the Circuit Breaker 'D'
Reconnect the UPS
Remedy
Check the power cord
Fully charge the battery (up to 14
hours)
Contact the Trust helpdesk

Reduce the load of the UPS
Reduce the load of the UPS
Charge the battery for 14hours or
more
Check if the USB/RS232 cable is
firmly connected to the PC
Check the settings of the software
In the manual (located on the
CD)
Reinstall the software
Reconnect the power cord
properly
Reset the circuit breaker. (see
section above)
