Installation Steps

Identify the mounting locations for each step by looking under the driver side of the vehicle and finding the holes and slots in the
previously installed Rock Rail running board. Note which holes correspond with the holes in the running board step brackets. Mark the

Beginning on driver's side, slide nut plate over slots at
rear of rock rail, so that welded nuts are inboard and
single hole is outboard.

Thread M8 bolts with washers through holes in step
and through inboard holes / slots of rock rail into the

Front
Align bolt plate in place with slotted
holes in running board.

Install (2) bolts with washers
While supporting opposite end of step, insert stud into
outboard slot of Rock Rail and THROUGH hole in nut
plate. Secure stud with hex nut. Hand tighten.
Repeat at opposite end to fully support step.

Loosely start both bolts and repeat at other end.
