Fig. 6
Place the sieve insert (10) into the sieve drum in such
a way that the sieve edge is covered by a drum bar.
Push the rings at front and back into the sieve drum
and put them into a vertical position in the drum.
Fig. 7
Bolt the rings through the sieve mashes.
3 Allen screws each
3 washers each
3 serrated lock washers each
3 hexagon nuts each
Continue mounting both drum bars at the points ear-
lier marked with a felt pen.
10. Putting into operation
m ATTENTION!
Always make sure the device is fully assembled
before start-up!
Filling with material Fig. 8
Soil is always filled into the drum from the front.
• Before putting the implement into operation, ob-
serve the safety instructions.
• All guards and safety devices must be fitted.
• After connection to the electrical power, your
RS400 is ready for service.
• Always attach the power cable to the clamp in the
gusset plate.
Setting up, Fig. 9
Depending on the place of setting up, incline the sieve
drum as required. Displace the hexagon bolt (arrow).
The degree of inclination depends on the type of soil
to be sieved.
For loose material we recommend more inclination,
and for solid material less inclination.
Angle positioning large - faster throughput - top hole
Angle positioning small - slower throughput - bottom
hole
Electrical connection
The installed electrical motor is connected and ready
for use. The connection meets the corresponding
VDE and DIN regulations.
The power connection on the part of the client, as
well as the extension cables used, must meet these
regulations.
Faulty power supply cables
Insulation damage often occurs at power supply ca-
bles.
