Intended use

Water meters are used exclusively to measure drinking water consumption. Depending on
their version, they are either suitable for cold water or hot water.
Alteration of the water meters is not permitted.

If a sealed meter is damaged or removed by a person not authorised by Techem,
the calibration is no longer valid.

Transport is to be carried out using the original packaging.
Safety and hazard information
Observe hygiene in the drinking water area:
Only remove the meter from its packaging directly before installation.
Contact and contamination of surfaces which contact drinking water must be avoided
at all costs.
Only use lubricant permitted for drinking water, e.g. Techem tap grease (item no.
160958)!
Avoid damages:
Do not over-tighten measuring capsules.
Check sealing surfaces and clean them as necessary.
Test the screw thread.
Avoid billing errors:
Do not install water meters in circulation conduits.
Observe the direction of flow!
