CAUTION!
Danger of material damage due to overheating!
Poor ventilation of the charging unit during the charging process can
damage the charging unit and the rechargeable battery.
Always place the charging unit on a well ventilated and non-in-
flammable surface.
Keep the ventilation slots clear and do not cover the appliance.
CAUTION!
Danger of material damage due to incorrect mains voltage!
Incorrect mains voltage can damage the charging unit and the rechar-
geable battery.
Before connecting the charging unit, make sure that the mains
voltage matches the voltage stated in the "Technical data" sec-
tion.
1.
Remove the charging unit from the packaging.
2.
Place the charging unit free-standing on a non-inflammable, level surface.
3.
Insert the power plug.

The charging unit is ready for operation.
CHARGING THE RECHARGEABLE BATTERY
NOTE: Fully charge the rechargeable battery before using it for the first
time.
The rechargeable battery can be charged in any charge status. Inter-
rupting charging does not damage the rechargeable battery.
CAUTION!
Danger of fire during charging!
The charging unit heats up when charging. There is a danger of fire if
the charging unit is placed on an inflammable surface and is not ade-
quately ventilated.
Always use the charging unit on a non-inflammable surface and
in a non-combustible environment.

Insert the rechargeable battery (01/1) in the charging unit (01/2) and plug the
power plug (01/3) into the power outlet.
