CAUTION!
Remove the battery before starting any
work on the machine.
CAUTION!
Risk of injury!
Always wear work gloves when carrying
out maintenance and care jobs on the
cutting blade!
1. After each use, clean the cutting blades and
housing with a brush or cloth. Do not use wa-
ter and/or aggressive cleaning agents – risk
of corrosion!
2. Lightly oil the cutter bar with a suitable protec-
tive oil.
3. Check that all screws are tight.
4. Regularly check the cutting blades. Contact
an AL-KO service centre under the following
circumstances:
Defective cutting blade
Blunt cutting blade
Excessive wear

STORAGE

ADVICE
The blade guard can be attached to the
wall as a holder for the hedge trimmer
(4).
Make sure that the screws are tight!

Clean the machine and its accessories after
each use.
Only store the machine with the blade guard
fitted.
Keep the machine out of reach of children
and unauthorised persons.
Store the machine in a dry place protected
against frost.
Remove the battery from the machine before
putting it into storage.

DISPOSAL

Do not dispose of worn-out machines
or spent batteries (including recharge-
able batteries) in domestic waste!
The packaging, machine and accessories
are made from recyclable materials, and
must be disposed of accordingly.
Dispose of batteries only after they have been
discharged
The user is obliged to return the batteries and
rechargeable batteries. These can be retur-
ned to points of sale free of charge.
The following possibilities exist for disposal:
By specialist dealers
By a return centre marked with the CCR
symbol
