HDMI HDBaseT + RS232 and IR over Cat Extender Box Scaling Receiver - 4K 60Hz
Wiring
Warnings:
Before wiring, disconnect the power from the device.
•
During wiring, connect and disconnect the cables gently.
•
Steps for device wiring:
1. Connect an HDMI source device (such as Blu-ray player, Apple TV, 4K media
player, etc.) to the HDMI IN port of an HDBaseT transmitter (e.g. C2G30014).
2. Connect the HDBT OUT of the transmitter to the HDBT IN of this receiver via a
qualified Cat 5e/6/7 cable.
3. Connect an HDMI display (e.g. projector) to the HDMI Out port of the receiver.
4. Connect for additional options
a) IR pass-through: Connect the IR emitter to IR Out port of the transmitter, and
the IR receiver to IR In port of the receiver. The source can be controlled at
display location through the source device remote.
b) RS232 pass-through: Connect a RS232 device (e.g. PC) to the RS232 port of
transmitter, and the display to the RS232 port of receiver. RS232 signal can be
passed through transmitter and receiver bidirectionally.
5. Connect the power adapter provided to the receiver. (This receiver is able to
power the C2G30014 transmitter along a Cat X cable through one-way PoC, and
no additional power adapter is required at transmitter side.)
6. Power on all attached devices.
RS232 Control
Connect a control PC to the RS232 port of the
device. A professional RS232 serial interface
software (e.g. Serial Assist) may be needed as
well. Before sending API commands to control
this device, ensure the control PC and it are
configured correctly.

Configuration of
Output Resolution
The receiver equips a 3-pin Scaler DIP switch on front
panel for configuration of output resolution.
By default, the Scaler switch is set in auto scaler position,
i.e. all the three switches are set to 0 position. To config-
ure the output resolution, refer to the following table:
