person in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
23.1. Safety instrucions for repair

cidentally switched on again by a third party during inspection or mainte-
nance work. The unintentional door movements can lead to (serious)
personal injury and material damage.
SAFETY INSTRUCTION FOR HAZARD AVOIDANCE
x Before carrying out any work, disconnect the door system from the
power supply and secure the door system against unauthorised
reconnection.
x If possible, have the emergency stop command device ready to
trigger an immediate stop in the event of unexpected door move-
ment.
x Install the controls at a sufficient height and/or keep them out of
reach of unauthorised persons.
All cleaning, maintenance and repair work must be carried out by qualified per-
sonnel. To ensure the performance and operability of the system, the necessa-
ry maintenance work must be carried out by qualified personnel at regular in-
tervals in accordance with the applicable regulations.
Particular attention must be paid to regular inspection of the safety equipment.
It is recommended that operators of the door system carry out a visual inspec-
tion of all safety functions on a monthly basis.
All installation, maintenance and repair work must be documented in writing in
an inspection book.
