Disabling a forgotten password

The software security features include a sistema password and a setup password. The password jumper enables the password
features or disables them and clears any passwords currently in use.

1. Turn off the sistema, including any attached peripherals, and disconnect the sistema from the electrical outlet.
2. Open the sistema.
3. Move the jumper on the system board jumper from pins 4 and 6 to pins 2 and 4.
4. Close the sistema.
The existing passwords are not disabled (erased) until the sistema boots with the jumper on pins 2 and 4. However, before
you assign a new sistemam and/or setup password, move the jumper back to pins 4 and 6.
NOTE: If you assign a new sistema and/or setup password with the jumper on pins 2 and 4, the sistema disables the
new passwords the next time it boots.
5. Reconnect the system board jumper to its electrical outlet and turn on the sistema, including any attached peripherals.
6. Turn off the sistema, including any attached peripherals, and disconnect the sistema from the electrical outlet.
7. Open the sistema.
8. Move the jumper on the system board jumper from pins 2 and 4 to pins 4 and 6.
9. Close the sistema.
10. Reconnect the sistema to its electrical outlet and turn on the sistema, including any attached peripherals.
11. Assign a new sistema and/or setup password.
