Important: Never immerse cooking base in water or other liquids.
1. Always unplug the rice cooker and allow to cool completely
before cleaning.
2. Wash cooking bowl, serving spoon, steamer basket, and rice
measure in warm water and dish soap. If food sticks to the
cooking bowl, allow it to soak before cleaning with a plastic
scouring pad.
Note: The cooking bowl is dishwasher safe.
3. Remove the steam vent cap (A) by pulling straight up. Turn the
top counterclockwise (B) to take apart upper and lower halves (C).
Remove small gasket (D). Wash by hand, dry, and reassemble.
Do not operate cooker without the steam vent cap.
4. Remove the condensation collector, and the lid liner (E). Hand
wash and dry.
5. Wipe interior and exterior of the cooking base with a soft, slightly
damp cloth or sponge.
7. Reassemble the steam vent cap, condensation collector, lid liner,
and cooking bowl onto the rice cooker.
Important: Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring
pads—they may scratch the nonstick surface of the
cooking bowl or could result in poor contact with the
heating plate.
8. If water accidentally gets into the switch area or onto the heating
plate, allow to dry thoroughly before using the rice cooker.
Any other servicing should be performed by an authorized
service representative.
