3.3.6. WIND
The segment displays information about the wind.
There are two arrows inside the circular compass rose
(if overlapping, only one will be seen). The thicker arrow
shows the last wind direction measured 16 seconds earlier
or less. The thinner arrow shows the average wind direction
during the previous 16 seconds interval. This allows insight
into the change in wind direction.
If the
symbol is displayed in the segment, pressing the
SET button will display the wind speed, gusts and wind
direction in degrees.
If the
symbol is displayed in the segment, the following
will appear in turn:
1.
maximum wind speed for the current day
2.
maximum wind speed since the last reset
3.
maximum gust speed for the current day
4.
maximum gust speed since the last reset
3.3.7. WINDCHILL TEMPERATURE, DEW POINT, HEAT INDEX
The segment displays information about the wind.

3.
maximum gust speed for the current day
4.
maximum gust speed since the last reset
3.3.7. WINDCHILL TEMPERATURE, DEW POINT, HEAT INDEX
The segment will display values related to temperature and
pressure. The values that can be displayed by pressing the
SET button are the wind chill temperature, heat index and
dew point. The dew point is calculated based on the sensor
values (temperature and humidity). The dew point is the
temperature to which the air must be cooled in order to
be saturated and above which the water vapor in the air
becomes liquid (dew).
If the
symbol is displayed in a segment, the following
will appear in turn:
minimum wind chill temperature for the current day
minimum wind chill temperature since the last reset
maximum dew point temperature for the current day
minimum dew point temperature for the current day
maximum dew point temperature since the last reset
minimum dew point temperature since the last reset
maximum heat index of the current day
maximum heat index of the day since the last reset
3.3.8. RAINFALL
If the
symbol is displayed in the segment, pressing the
SET button will display in turn:
RAIN INDICATOR - the accumulated amount of
rainfall over the last 60 minutes
RAINFALL PERIOD - a single rainfall period not
interrupted by a zero rainfall intensity
DAY - rainfall around the clock
WEEK - rainfall for 7 days
MONTH - total rainfall from the first till the last day
of the month
YEAR - defined by the calendar year
TOTAL RAIN - total rainfall since power on or reset
If the
symbol is displayed in a segment, the following
will appear in turn:
maximum rainfall for the current day
maximum rainfall since the last reset
data on maximum rainfall for the current day
data on maximum rainfall for the last week
data on maximum rainfall for the last month
data on maximum rainfall for the past year
3.3.9. SETTINGS
In normal mode, press the SET button for 2 seconds to
enter the settings mode. Then press the „
", button to
switch between the different setting functions:
time settings
unit settings
auto save interval
rain season settings
barometric settings
key tone settings
calibration
transmitter ID
When the selected setting function is displayed, press
button to enter the slave setting menu. To change the value
of the settings, use the
or
buttons. By holding
down the
or
button for 2 seconds, the value will
increase / decrease continuously. Pressing the HISTORY
button or waiting for 30 seconds will cause the unit to
return to normal mode.
CALIBRATION
In the settings, you can change the values obtained
from the sensors before being displayed or saved. After
entering the calibration, press the „
", button to enter
the following calibration settings:
1)
indoor temperature calibration
2)
room humidity calibration
3)
outdoor temperature calibration
4)
Outdoor humidity calibration
5)
Calibrating absolute barometric pressure
6)
Calibrating relative barometric pressure.
7)
Wind direction (can be adjusted from 0 to 359°. If the
station is installed in the southern hemisphere, the
wind direction should be changed by 180°).

8)
Wind speed: the default wind speed calibration
factor is 1 (the range is 0.1-2.5)
9)
Rainfall: the default rain factor calibration factor is 1
(the range is 0.1-2.5)
10)
One-day rainfall calibration (the range is 0-9999 mm
or equivalent in other units)
11)
One-week rainfall calibration (the range is 0-9999
mm or equivalent in other units)
12)
One-month rainfall calibration (the range is 0-9999
mm)
13)
One-year rainfall calibration (the range is 0-9999
mm)
14)
Rainfall calibration since the last reset (the range is
0-9999 mm).
Note: Before adjusting the wind speed or rainfall, make
sure that the outdoor sensor set is horizontally mounted,
the device can move freely and there is no "slippage" on
the axle (make sure the locating screw is tightened).
3.3.10. ALARM MODE
Press the ALARM button to set the alarm limit for the
highest values, press the ALARM button again to set the
alarm limit for the lowest values.
When the alarm mode is on, the device will produce a loud
sound and the icon
