The plasterguard (1) provided with the R19000 also acts as a flushing mechanism to flush the
A.
water supply. To operate stops (2), loosen the retention screw (3) (the screw does not have to
be removed). Turn plastic knob (4) counterclockwise to turn the water on and clockwise to turn
the water off. Note: The plastic knob/cap should pop away from body when screw is
loosened. The stops can be shut-off for pressure testing. The finished wall must fall within
the designated area (5) of the plasterguard. Note: It is very important that the lines have
been thoroughly flushed prior to installing the debris screens.
After the wall is finished and you are ready to install the trim, turn the water supply off and
B.
remove the plasterguard by removing the four screws (1) holding it to the body.

INSTALL THE CARTRIDGE
Make sure the blue face seal (1) is still present on the bottom
A.
of the cartridge (2). For standard installations, the long pin
(3) on the bottom of the cartridge will face down in the
installation. Insert the cartridge into the body (4) being careful
to not roll or pinch the black seal (5) on the outside of the
cartridge. Install the friction ring (6). Note: For back to back
installations or line reversal, break the long pin on the
bottom of the cartridge (3) and install this side on top.
Install the mounting bracket (1), and secure to the body with
B.
the four screws (2) provided. IMPORTANT: Make sure to
install the screws completely until they bottom tight
against the body and friction ring. Screws not secured
tightly could result in leakage.
