• Cold water supply temperature: 5 - 20°C.
• Insert the filters supplied.
• Balance the hot water / cold water pressure: ΔP < 1 bar.
1. Position the panel so that the shower head is 2.10m from the floor.
2. Mark and drill 2 holes Ø 5mm at the top of the panel, at 2.20m from the floor (Fig. G).
Mark and then drill two holes at the base of the panel (Fig. H).
3. Attach the two end caps to the top and bottom of the panel with a screwdriver (Fig. G & H).
REMEMBER
• Our mixers/valves must be installed by professional installers in accordance with current
regulations and recommendations in your country, and the specifications of the fluid engineer.
• Sizing the pipes correctly will avoid problems of flow rate, pressure loss and water hammer
(see calculation table in our brochure and online at www.delabie.com).
• Protect the installation with filters, water hammer absorbers and pressure reducers to reduce the
frequency of maintenance (recommended pressure from 1 to 5 bar maximum).
• Install stopcocks close to the mixer/valve to facilitate maintenance.
• The pipework, filters, non-return valves, stopcocks, bib taps, cartridge and all sanitary fittings should
be checked at least once a year, and more frequently if necessary.
TEMPERATURE CALIBRATION & COMMISSIONING (FIG. A, B, C & D)
Our mixers are pre-set at the factory under 3 bar pressure, with hot and cold water supply pressures
balanced, and hot water temperature at 65°C ± 5°C and cold water temperature at 15°C ± 5°C.
If the conditions of use are different, the mixed water temperature may differ from the factory pre-set
temperature (39°C). The control lever should be repositioned to the corresponding temperature:
• Turn the control lever CR to position CR-B (BR-B) (Fig. A & B).
• Take a reading of the temperature with a digital thermometer.
• Loosen the grub screw V (Fig. D) without fully removing it, using a 2.5mm Allen key, and remove
the control lever CR.
• With a 2.5 mm Allen key, turn the screw situated on the spindle (Fig. D) clockwise or anti-clockwise
to adjust the mixed water temperature (max. 39°C for showers).
• Reposition the control lever CR in position CR-B (Fig. A). Check that the stop point BUT (control lever CR)
(Fig. C) is as close as possible to the stop point BR-B (index ring BR) tighten the grub screw V (Fig. B).
• Check that the mixer closes by turning the control lever CR to position CR-A, the water should stop
when the control lever reaches the stop point BR-A (Fig. B).
THERMAL SHOCK (FIG. A & D)
• SECURITHERM sequential shower panels are designed to withstand thermal and chemical shocks
in line with current regulations and recommendations.
• It is possible to activate a thermal shock at the temperature of the hot water in the system:
- Turn control lever CR to position CR-B (Fig. A).
- Loosen the grub screw V without fully removing it, using a 2.5mm Allen key, and remove the control
lever CR (Fig. D).
- Using the 2.5mm Allen key, turn the screw on the spindle as far as possible to achieve
the temperature of the hot water in the system (approx. 3 turns).
• Once the thermal shock is complete do not forget to re-commission the mixer to a maximum
temperature of 39°C.
Note: during commissioning and thermal shocks, channel the water from the shower head.
