8. The use of accessory attachments (other than bags designed to be used with a vacuum
food sealer) not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries or
damage the appliance.
9. Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces.

•

•
Wait 20 seconds between seals to allow the appliance to cool. Do not vacuum seal more
than 20 bags consecutively. If you need to seal more than 20 bags consecutively, let the
appliance cool for approximately 30 minutes after the first 20 bags before using again.
•
Vacuum sealing is NOT a substitute for the heat process of canning, or for refrigerating or
freezing. Perishables still need to be refrigerated or frozen.
•
For best results, use only with bags designed to work with a food vacuum sealer.
•
During the vacuum sealing process, small amounts of liquids, crumbs or food particles can
be inadvertently pulled into the Vacuum Channel. Please clean after each use.
•
Avoid overfilling; always leave at least 2 to 3 inches of bag material between bag contents
and top of bag. This allows room for the bag material to cinch tightly against the food and
prevents the bag from pulling out of the Vacuum Channel during the sealing process. Leave
at least one additional inch of bag material for each time you plan to reuse bag.
