Instructions for use
Turn mill. Unscrew the closing lid ➄ on the
bottom side and fill the storage ➃ urn with
salt or pepper. Screw the closing lid ➄ back on
tightly. When grinding ➂, hold the grinding head
firmly and turn the storage urn ➃. The mill can
be fully adjusted from coarse to fine grinding.
When adjusting the grinder, please ensure
that it is not completely removed so as to
prevent ceramic abrasion and any associated
damage to the ceramic grinder.
Turn the wheel ➁ clockwise for a fine grind,
anti-clockwise for coarse.
To measure the exact amount and to protect
from steam and damp you can also grind with
the lid in place and remove the ground spice
from the lid.

Caution
Any remaining traces of very oily spices such as
nutmeg can affect how the mill functions. Grind
as much very coarse salt as is needed until all the
remains are removed. After cleansing with clear
water the ceramic grinding mechanism requires
two days for drying.
Guarantee
We guarantee (provided that the product is used
under normal, domestic conditions and for the
intended use) the proper functioning of the
ceramic grinder for 10 years from the date of
purchase. Our guarantee also includes replace-
ment of a defective grinder with a perfect one
during the guarantee period.
Provided that this model is still included in the
product range, the defective part will be repla-
ced by a part from the same model. If the model
is no longer carried in the WMF product range,
the defective part will be replaced with a similar
