1 Safety instructions
The user manual is part of the product and contains im-
portant information for correct use.
• Read the user manual completely and carefully be-
fore use.

Notes for network separation
The product has no power switch and may be used
only in easily accessible outlets to quickly remove it in
an emergency and after use.
Voltage-free only with pulled plug.
• In case of emergency, during thunderstorms and af-
ter use, pull the product on its plug housing! In case

Description and function

2.1 Product
This product is used to extend a USB data connection
up to 100 m via a network cable. It is suitable for con-
necting USB end devices such as a mouse, keyboard,
printer or hard drive.

Connection and operation

5.1 Connection
1. Connect the USB-A 2.0 plug of the transmitter unit
to a USB port (USB 1.0/1.1 or 2.0) of your computer.
2. Connect your USB end device to the receiver unit
via the USB-A 2.0 socket.
