CAT 5/5a/6 / USB 2.0 Converter
3. Connect the RJ45 socket of the transmitter unit to
the RJ45 socket of the receiver unit using a Cat
5/5a or 6 network cable.
Crossover cables must not be used. They have a
different PIN assignment.
4. Connect the DC plug of the power supply unit to the
DC socket of the receiver unit.
5. Plug the Euro plug of the power supply unit into a
free and easily accessible power outlet.
The power LED on the transmitter and receiver unit
lights up when there is a power supply.
Network cable and USB cable are not included in
the scope of delivery.
5.2 Operation
There are no operating elements to be used during
operation.
The CAT 5/5a/6 USB 2.0 converter requires no driver
installation.
• If required, install the driver software of your USB
end device.
6 Maintenance, Care, Storage and
Transportation
The product is maintenance-free.
NOTICE! Material damage
• Always unplug the power cord before cleaning.
• Only use a dry and soft cloth for cleaning.
• Do not use detergents or chemicals.
• Store the product out the reach of children and in a
dry and dust-protected ambience when not in use.
• Store cool and dry.
• Keep and use the original packaging for transport.

Disposal instructions

7.1 Product
According to the European WEEE directive,
electrical and electronic equipment must not be
disposed with consumers waste. Its components
must be recycled or disposed apart from each
other. Otherwise contaminative and hazardous
substances can damage the health and pollute the
environment.
As a consumer, you are committed by law to dispose

dealer, or public collecting points at the end of the
devices lifetime for free. Particulars are regulated in
national right. The symbol on the product, in the user
manual, or at the packaging alludes to these terms.

waste disposal of used devices you achieve an

7.2 Packaging
Packaging can be disposed of free of charge at
the suitable collection points – paper belongs in
paper bins, plastics belong in yellow sacks and
glass belongs in used glass bins.
