3. Installation on Luminance Brands Fans Having a
Modular Switch Housing with Center Screw

Disconnect the Motor Connector from the Switch
Housing Connector (Figure 2) .

Remove the Center Screw from the Switch Housing
(Figure 2) .

Carefully locate the White and Blue Wires (labeled
either "L" or "LIGHT") in the Switch Housing .
Remove the Wire Connectors from the Wires
(Figure 3) .
Retain Wire Connectors for future use in Step 3 .8 .

Insert the Black and White Wires from the new Light
Fixture Assembly through the Switch Housing Center
Hole (Figure 4) .
Thread the Switch Housing onto the Light Fixture
Assembly (Figure 4) .
NOTE: To prevent the wires from twisting, hold the
wires taut while installing the switch housing.
Tighten the Light Fixture Assembly until it fits securely against the Switch Housing and the Fan Speed Control
Chain aligns with one of the Holes in the Light Fixture
Assembly Flange (Figure 4) .
