Hydraulic connection and safety devices
Please note the appropriate hydraulic diagram when integrating the storage tank.
See the system provider's manual.
Make any heating-side connections in accordance with standards and local regulations:
Use gravity brakes or trap bends with a length of 10 x pipe diameter to prevent undesired storage
tank cooling due to pipe-in-pipe circulation.
Note the permissible pressure levels and pressure differences: select appropriate pressure-
reducing valves and safety valves.
It must not be possible to shut off the connections to the safety devices (safety valve, membrane
expansion tank).
Seal any non-used connections.

Risk of burns and scalding!
As temperatures of > 65 °C can arise during solar charging, there is a risk of scalding and a
potential risk of burns from the connections and components.
Caution!
► Use the process water mixer to restrict the maximum water temperature from the
tap to 65 °C.
► Do not touch hot components.
Suitable manometers must be installed in the prescribed positions.
Suitable expansion tanks must be installed in the heating and solar circuit.
