Care and Cleaning

WARNING:
Make sure the power is off before cleaning your fan.
Because of the fan's natural movement, some connections may become loose. Check the support connections, brackets, and blade
attachments twice a year. Make sure they are secure. It is not necessary to remove the fan from the ceiling.
Clean your fan periodically to help maintain its new appearance over the years. Do not use water when cleaning, as this could damage
the motor, or the wood, or possibly cause an electrical shock. Use only a soft brush or lint-free cloth to avoid scratching the nish. The
plating is sealed with a lacquer to minimize discoloration or tarnishing.
You can apply a light coat of furniture polish to the wood for additional protection and enhanced beauty. Cover small scratches with a
light application of shoe polish.
You do not need to oil your fan. The motor has permanently lubricated sealed ball bearings.
The orange light button turns the fan lights on or off. The LIGHT
TIMER and FAN TIMER buttons set the sleep timer from 0.5 to
24 hours.
Press and release the orange light button to turn the light on
and off.
To set the sleep timer, press the LIGHT TIMER or FAN TIMER
button once, and the timer symbols will be displayed on the
LCD screen.
NOTE : You have 6 second to set the sleep timer. If you do
not perform any entries during this time, the light timer
display will be turned off automatically. To reset, press the
TIMER button again.
Use the TEMP./SET/HOUR buttons to set the desired sleep time
from 0.5-24 hours. The light or fan both will be turned off
automatically when the preset Time expires. If the fan is in the
FAN AUTO mode, it will return to MANUAL mode when the sleep
timer expires.
Use the LIGHT-Delay button to activate the light delay function.
The light will automatically shut off in 3 minutes.
