1 Installation of the balance on the unit
Determine the required width on the device between the two lower links and adjust this width using the

adjustment screws on the scales. Fasten the screws tightly.
If your device has a rigid axis and the scale is used without arrestor hooks, the adjustment screws must

be completely loosened, and the scales dismantled and put together again.
Mount the balance with the ball joints or arrestor hooks on the lowe links of the unit.

Install the two upper link brackets. Use those of the four holes with which the tabs should be at right

angles to the scale.
The balance should be operated in as vertical a position as possible. Use either the 130 mm or 160 mm

tabs as required.
Use only the top link bolt supplied. Install the upper link together with the two attachments using this pin.

A staggered arrangement using a second bolt is not permissible.
Loosen the four inner nuts of the adjusting screws and slide the two standing attachments to exactly the

same height so as to be at a right angle with the two flaps.


2 Connection of the weighing display
Position the weighing display at a suitable place in the vehicle.

Connect the power cable either to the plug or directly to the positive and negative terminals. The display

can be operated at between 12 and 24 volts.
Bind the connectors of the weighing signal cable.

3 Calibration of the weighing display
If you operate the AGRETO three-point scale vertically or hanging only slightly forward or backwards, the
factory calibration is correct and the scales are ready for immediate use. If this is not possible, the weighing
display should be calibrated for the usage situation of the scales.
As calibration determines the accuracy of the scale, these steps should be performed only if necessary and
with the utmost care!
Every new calibration replaces the existing one. Proceed as follows:
Place your vehicle on as flat a surface as possible and place the attachment in working position without

loading.
If tensions occur in the attachment unit and in the scale do not affect the calibration, proceed a little to

the front and back again.
Press and hold the right and left (small) buttons on the weighing display at the same time until the

settings menu is started.
Wait until the display shows the word BUILD.

Press the [ZERO] button twice, and CAL appears on the display.

Press the [TARE] button twice, and SPAN appears on the display.

Press the [SELECT] button, and the current weight flashes on the display.

Press the [SELECT] button, and the display shows Z.inP. The zero point is now set, and confirmed with

three short tones. The 0 flashes on the display.
Press the [TARE] button twice, and SPAN appears on the display.

