cleaning and Maintenance
If a child eats and drinks while in the restraint, the harness buckle may need to be periodically
checked and cleaned of any accumulated debris or dried liquids. THOROUGHLY RINSE, using warm
water SOAK, overnight if possible, using warm water to loosen hardened drinks or food. The
cover can be removed and washed with a mild detergent using the washing machine's cycle for
delicate items (30° C). Do not spin, and never tumble dry in an electric clothes dryer(the fabric may
separate from the padding). The plastic parts can be cleaned using soapy water. Do not use harsh
cleaning agents (such as solvents). Do not take apart, or attempt to take apart, any part of
the harness or seat when cleaning. Do not use solvents, detergents or washing-up liquid
as these may weaken the harness and the seat. Do not lubricate or oil any part of the seat.
• Take off the cover: Remove the back lid on the backside of the child seat by pulling out four
plastic screws on the sides of the back lid. Then unhitch the harness straps from the yoke and
pull the straps through to the front of the seat. Untie the shoulder pad cords and pull these
through to the front of the seat.
• Release all velcro bands
upwards.
