WARNINg: bEFORE pERFORmINg ANy OpERATION, pOSITION THE STOp AT THE ENd OF
THE HOSE, REEL THE HOSE COmpLETELy ANd mAKE SURE THAT THE SpRINg
IS COmpLETELy SLACKENEd.
Use a hose with dimension and pressure characteristics suited to the use. (See table of
characteristics).
1. Unscrew the revolving coupling by unfastening the 28 mm nut (Figure A).
2. Insert a 14 mm hexagonal wrench in the spring hub. Unscrew the two attachment screws,
holding the wrench in the opposite direction to counteract the action of the spring (Figure B).
3. Remove the 4 attachment screws from the two half-casings.
4. Remove the cover and the hose guide end fitting (Figure C).
5. Take out the drum, ensuring that the catch is out of the rack.

6. Turn the drum over and disassemble the catch and the catch spring (Figure D).
7. Raise the cover using two screwdrivers inserted in the suitable holes as a lever (Figure E).
8. Unscrew the coupling and replace the hose.
9. Reel the new hose on the drum, insert it in the guiding rollers and fit the limit stop
approximately 30 cm from the end.
10. Reassemble the reel, following the operations in reverse order.
Grease the supports and catch if required.
11. After assembling the half-casings, insert a hexagonal wrench in the hub hole. Turn the wrench
anti-clockwise so that the limit stop is in contact with the hose guide end fitting.
Prestress the spring by continuing to turn the wrench anti-clockwise (3 turns for DMF,
2 turns for DPF).
12. Hold the wrench in position and fasten the hub with the two screws (Figure F).
Reassemble the revolving joint after greasing it. Perform a functional check. If the hose does not go
in completely or does not come out completely, readjust the tension of the spring (point 11).
Slide the limit stop to the required distance from the end of the hose (minimum 1 metre).
