The FILTER BALL VALVE which can come supplied and fitted to the
drain valve or available as an optional extra on some models, comprises
a manual isolation valve and fine mesh filter/strainer. These units are
designed to be fitted to the inlet port of the drain valve. The fine mesh
stainless steel filter/strainer is designed to prevent contaminants from
reaching the solenoid valve and can be easily removed for periodic
cleaning. The isolation valve can be used to isolate the air/condensate
supply from the drain valve and facilitate inspection and maintenance.
