- Keep the jug under
the steam pipe.
Please note: the two
holes at the side of
the accessory
should remain
below the milk
surface (fig. 18).
- Set the selector to
position "Steam" ç
(fig. 19).
The appliance will make a ticking sound.
After a short while steam will come out of the
steam pipe, making the milk bubble (fig. 20).
- As soon as you have
enough froth, set the
selector to position
"Closed" O (fig. 21).
- Then remove the milk
jug.
- Clean the steam
pipe with some
additional steam to
remove remaining
milk from the inside.
Remaining milk can
give a bad smell or taste the next time you use
your appliance. (Please also refer to section
"Cleaning".)
The appliance is now ready for making
Espresso.
- Place the filter holder with Espresso coffee into
the appliance and make Espresso. (Please
refer to section "Espresso".)
- Add sugar and milk to taste.
- Place one or two tablespoons of froth on to the
Espresso. Sprinkle with some cocoa powder.
Tapping hot water
To make tea or to prepare other hot drinks you
can tap hot water from your Espresso machine.

- Set the temperature switch to position "Hot
water" å (fig. 22)
- Set the selector to position "Steam" ç
(fig. 23).
- Hot water will now
come from the
steam pipe (fig. 24).
- Set the selector
back to position
"Closed" O.
After use
Important: After
making Espresso or steam the appliance
bleeds automatically. As a result, some steam
will be produced in the drip basin.
Empty the drip basin regularly.
- Switch off by setting switch "On/Off" to
position O. Red pilot light "On" will go out.

- Unscrew the filter holder (fig. 25).
- Move the filter clamp forwards (fig. 26).
