Application
Can be used in conjunction with: Pressurised storage
heaters, thermally and hydraulically controlled
instantaneous heaters. Operation with low-pressure
displacement water heaters is not possible.
Specifications
• Flow pressure min. 0.5 bar / recommended 1 - 5 bar
• Operating pressure
• Test pressure
If static pressure is greater than 5 bar, fit pressure
reducer.
Avoid major pressure differences between hot and
cold water supply.
• Flow rate at 3 bar flow pressure:
• Temperature
Hot water inlet
Recommended
• Water connection
Installation
Flush piping system prior and after installation of
fitting thoroughly (Consider EN 806)!
Installation and connection, see fold-out page III,
Fig. [1].
When assembling, the waste rod (A) has to be placed
into the body.
Fit pop-up waste set (28 915), see fold-out page II.
Seal plug-hole rim!
Open cold and hot-water supply and check con-
nections for leakage!
Check fitting for correct operation, see fold-out
page III, Fig. [2].
Temperature limiter
On delivery, the temperature limiter (fitted as standard)
is inoperative.
For commissioning see "Replacing the cartridge"
point 1 to 4.
Remove temperature limiter (B) and, depending on the
maximum temperature required, turn clockwise (to
increase temperature) or anticlockwise (to reduce
temperature) and refit, see Fig. [3] and [4].

Flow rate limiter
This fitting is fitted with a flow rate limiter, permitting an
infinitely individual variable reduction in the flow rate.
The highest possible flow rate is set by the factory
before despatch.
The use of flow rate limiters in combination with
hydraulic instantaneous water heaters is not
recommended.
For commissioning see "Replacing the cartridge" point
1 to 5, Figs. [3] and [5].
Maintenance
Inspect and clean all parts, replace as necessary and
grease with special grease.
Shut off the hot and cold water supply!
I. Replacing the cartridge, see Fig. [3].
1. Lever out plug (C).
2. Remove set screw (D) using a 3mm socket spanner
and pull off lever (E).
3. Release screw (F) and pull off collar (G).
4. Unscrew cap (H).
5. Pull off temperature limiter (B).
6. Remove screws (I) and detach complete
cartridge (J).
7. Change complete cartridge (J).
Assemble in reverse order.
Caution
In this process, note the relative positions of the
collar (G) and lever (E). The lugs (K) on the collar (G)
must engage the central recesses (L) in the lever (E),
see Fig. [6].
Make sure that the cartridge seals engage in the
grooves on the housing. Fit screws (I) and tighten
evenly and alternately.
II. Unscrew and clean flow straightener (13 960), see
fold-out page II.
Assemble in reverse order.
Replacement parts, see fold-out page II ( * = special
accessories).
