Masking Tape
1. Prepare the Countertop
NOTE: Install the sink in such a way that future removal will not
damage the countertop.
Verify the desired sink location will allow adequate clearance
between the backsplash, faucet, sink, plumbing, and cabinet.
NOTE: For sink replacement in an existing countertop, be sure the
existing hole is the same size or smaller than the new sink.
Cut along the inside of the cutting line for the countertop
opening to prepare the cut-out template.
Locate and mark the faucet hole centerlines on the countertop.
Allow a minimum distance of 2-3/8" (6 cm) between the faucet
centerline and the edge of the sink.
Position, tape, and trace the template on the countertop. Remove
the template.
Drill a pilot hole inside the cutting line. Using a jigsaw or keyhole
saw, cut along the inside line to cut out the opening in the
countertop.
Clean the countertop area to remove any dust, debris, or defects.
2. Install the Faucet Fitting
Drill the faucet holes in the countertop and install the faucet
according to the manufacturer's instructions.
