Inserting the battery and memory card

Open the battery and card compartment at the bottom of
the camera.
Inserting and removing the battery
Pull the grey locking lever away from the battery
compartment.
Insert the battery in the
designated compartment as
shown (with the lettering
facing up).
Make sure that the plus (+)
and minus (−) poles are
correctly inserted.
To remove the battery, pull the grey locking lever away
from the battery compartment and pull the battery out of
the device.
