Notes on safety
– Before commissioning, please read carefully the safety notes on
page 40.

Setting up the equipment

– Disconnect power plug.
– Set the equipment on a stable and even base.
Important:
Do not place the equipment on or close to hot surfaces (like electric
plates). Minimum distance: 50 cm. Do not put anything on the equip-
ment or cover it.
– Set up the electric disk grater in such a way that it is out of the reach
of children.
Cleaning before first use
– Wash the plastic parts of the grating attachment, the citrus squeezer
attachment and the stainless steel disks in warm water and dry them.
– Just wipe the motor component with a slightly moist cloth. Do not
let it come come into contact with water.

Checking the voltage

– Before connecting the equipment to the power, check to see that the
voltage is the same as the specified voltage on the rating plate.
– Connect cable at both ends. The socket (230 V~) should be earthed.
Important:
Do not let the cable be pinched, or come into contact with hot sur-
faces (e.g. electric plates). Do not let the cable hang down. Do not use
an extension lead.
– Always disconnect the plug when not in use. When pulling the plug,
always grasp the plug itself – do not pull the cable!
