never give children objects with
cords or strings attached, or leave
them close to such objects.
• Never use the stroller on staircases
or escalators: you could suddenly
loose control of it.
• Always pay attention when going
up and down steps or pavements.
• If the stroller is left exposed to direct
sunlight for an extended period of
time, allow it to cool down before
placing your child inside. Prolonged
exposure to direct sunlight may
cause the colour of the materials
and fabric to fade.
• Prevent the stroller from coming
into contact with salt water. It may
cause rusting.
• Do not use the stroller on the
beach.
• When not in use, the stroller should
be kept out of reach of children.
LIST OF COMPONENTS
Check that none of the components of this model are missing be-
fore assembling the product. If any part is missing, contact Chicco
Customer Service. No tools are needed to assemble this product. The
following pieces are needed for product assembly:
• Frame
• 2 Front wheels
• 2 Rear wheels
• Sun canopy
• Storage basket
• Bumper bar
• Fabric cover
• Padded shoulder straps and crotch strap.
• Rain cover
• Stroller bag/backpack
TIPS FOR CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
This product requires periodical maintenance.
Cleaning and maintenance operations must be performed exclusive-
ly by an adult.
CLEANING
The lining can be removed (please see the section FITTING AND RE-
MOVING THE STROLLER LINING).
Clean the fabric parts using a wet terry towel and neutral soap.
Periodically wipe the plastic parts clean with a soft damp cloth.
To prevent the formation of rust, always dry metal parts if they have
come into contact with water.
The washing symbols and relative meanings are indicated below:
Hand wash
Do not bleach
Do not tumble dry
Do not iron
Do not dry clean
MAINTENANCE
If necessary, lubricate the moving parts with dry silicone lubricant.
Regularly check the condition of the wheels and clean off all dust and
sand. To avoid friction that may compromise the correct functioning
of the stroller, make sure all plastic parts that run along the metal
tubes are clean of dust, dirt and sand.
Keep the stroller in a dry place.
FIRST ASSEMBLY OF THE STROLLER
1. To open the stroller, pull the release lever located on the side (Fig.
1), rotate the handle and lift it until the frame is fully open (Fig. 1A);
make sure that the front feet are locked and ensure that the handle
is fully extended and engaged (Fig. 1B).
WARNING: Before use, make sure that the stroller is locked in open
position, checking that the mechanism is actually locked.
ASSEMBLING THE FRONT AND REAR WHEELS
2. Assemble the front wheel by inserting the front leg tube in the ap-
propriate hole until hearing a locking click (Fig. 2). Repeat the same
operation for the second front wheel.
3. To assemble the rear wheels insert the wheel's pin into the rear axle
tube as shown in figure 3. Repeat the same operation for the other
wheel.
WARNING: Before using the stroller, make sure that the wheels are
well secured to the structure, pulling them firmly.
SUN CANOPY
4. To mount the hood to the stroller's frame insert the metal rod into
the hole positioned under the handle (Fig. 4), mount the elastic
hole into the special seat (Fig. 4A) and insert the hood joint into
the special sliding it in as far as possible (Fig. 4B). To complete the
operation, mount the elastic band to the lower pin located on the
rear side of the handle's tube (Fig. 4C). The rear fabric section of the
hood can be hooked to the backrest by means of velcro pads pro-
vided (Fig. 4D)
WARNING: The canopy must be fixed to both sides of the stroller.
Ensure that the hood is correctly secured into position.
5. To adjust the hood, pull and/or push it centrally (Fig. 5). The hood can
be extended by opening the zip. To remove the hood from the frame,
carry out the procedure shown in point 4 in the reverse order.
WARNING: Keep the hood out of reach of children when it is not
in use.
