Causes
Interruption in the power
supply, short- circuit or
defective fuses.
Time switching function
has switched off auto-
matically (Star-Z NOVA C
version only).
Motor is blocked, e.g. by
deposits from the water
mains.
Motor scraping, e.g.
through deposits from
the water mains
Running dry, too little
water.
Air in the pump.
Note: If you cannot remedy the fault,
contact a specialist retailer.
Disposal
• Do not dispose of the pump in household
waste.
• Recycle the pump.
• If in doubt, contact local authorities and spe-
cialist waste management companies.

Remedies
Have the power supply
checked by a qualified
electrician.
Check the plug clock
timer setting.
Have the pump removed
by a qualified technician


Check that the impeller
can move by turning it
and rinse out the dirt that
has accumulated.
Check the check valves,
they must be fully open.
Switch the pump on/off
5 times for 30 s in each
case.
